I received this Arc for a honest review.

I will keep this review short sweet and try not to give anything away

We return to a world that is a little less bright, as Marla and the kingdom come to terms with the attack and it’s losses. Change is coming but will everyone be ready for what is about to happen.

Being book four we have been thought a lot with these characters. Confused took us to a rather dark   and somewhat emotional, Telophy brings us back and grounds us. Though this is still someone of a emotional journey, we see some of the old wounds close and new adventures  starts.

This book is full of surprises. With surprising twists and turns. If you are a fan of this series you will not be disappointed.

Ghost Hour (Ghost House, #2)by Alexandra Adornetto

The edge-of-your seat powerful conclusion to GHOST HOUSE.

In the sequel to the page-turning GHOST HOUSE, Alexander Reade turns up at Sycamore High not remembering how he got there. But worse, he doesn’t remember Chloe Kennedy and believes he has come back to search for his lost love Isobel.
Chloe soon realizes that Alex needs her help surviving in the modern world. With his looks and the way he speaks, it’s as though he’s from another century. Which he is. In fact Alex has been dead for 157 years, but that doesn’t change how Chloe feels about him.

Chloe begins to experiences dreams that take her to a past life and realizes they are linked to Isobel. But when Isobel appears, Alex and Chloe must accept that the past and the present have collided. Chloe is being hunted by Isobel, who is just as vengeful as ever and out to destroy any bond between Alex and Chloe.

And she will do so – no matter the cost

The wait is over but I have to say I was a little disappointed.

I had waited 4 years  for this book to come out and though i enjoyed it I expected more.  Not to mentioned that this will be the last one in the series.

Chloe is back home but she just can not shake the memories  of her trip or Alex. Then he is there and the world she thought she had lost suddenly  reappears. But it is not all joy Alex doesn’t remember  her, her home life is falling apart  and her friends well she just can not connect with them.
There is a lot that I could say about this story but it was give to much of the story away. So I will keep it simple  plot interesting characters  great story good.

If you loved the first pick this  up and if you haven’t started this series  pick it up this weekend

Avenged (Ruined, #2)by Amy Tintera

A war that will fuel her. A bond that will destroy her.
Emelina Flores has come home to Ruina. After rescuing her sister, Olivia, from imprisonment in rival kingdom Lera, Em and Olivia together vow to rebuild Ruina to its former glory.
But just because Em and Olivia are out of Lera doesn’t mean they are safe. Their actions over the past year have had consequences, and they are now targets of retaliation. Olivia will destroy everyone who acts against Ruina. Em isn’t as sure.
Ever since Em posed as Prince Casimir’s betrothed in Lera, she’s started to see another side to this war. Lera may have destroyed the Ruined for decades, but Em knows that Cas is different. And now that he’s taken the throne, Em believes a truce is within reach. But Olivia suspects that Em’s romantic feelings for Cas are just coloring her judgement.
Em is determined to bring peace to her home. But when winning the war could mean betraying her family, she faces an impossible choice between loyalty and love. Em must stay one step ahead of her enemies—and her blood—before she’s the next victim in this battle for sovereignty.

I received  this Arc for a honest review.

When we last left off Em had saved Olivia and hoped to move forward. But Olivia is passed (honesty who wouldn’t be ) except all she can see and all she wants is revenge.

On the other hand Em is torn between her love for Cas, and her duty to her people. To make matters worse  Prince August of Olso shows up with a offer thst could change everything.

There is still lovely moments with Cas  and Em, but their relationship wasn’t the focus of this book.

We learn more about Aren in this story which was really good. As it helped the stories depth.

This  second book is a lot of planning and creating alliances which is clearly setting the story up for something big in book 3
