We Three Heroes (The Medoran Chronicles, #4.5) by Lynette Noni

“We all have to do our part if we’re to survive the coming storm.”

Alexandra Jennings might be the hero of The Medoran Chronicles, but she would be lost without her three closest friends. They are her heroes, and like all heroes, they each have their own story.

Meet the real D.C. in Crowns and Curses and discover how she becomes the princess Alex once despised but now adores.
Follow Jordan on his healing journey in Scars and Silence as he struggles in the wake of being rescued from his living nightmare.

Walk beside Bear in Hearts and Headstones as he faces an unspeakable trauma while helping his world prepare for the coming war.

D.C., Jordan and Bear are the heroes of their own stories. It is

time for their stories to be told.

I received an ARC copy of We Three Heroes, from Pantera in exchange for an honest review.

Firstly I apologize for the delay in my review.

I love The Medoran Chronicles. I have been asked by many people to describe The Medoran Chronicles and the best description i can give is that you have gone through the wardrobe and then fallen down the rabbit hole, into a world of magic and mystery. Where reality meets your wildest dreams.

This is great companion Novella that gives us an insight into the lives of Alex closest friends, D.C., Jordan and Bear. These are a beautiful series of stories that help us to get a better understanding of her friends and how their lives have changed.

Made up of 3 stories, each story focus of a different friend

Crowns and Curses – D.C
We get to learn more about D.C. up bring and discovering what makes her who she is today. Life as a princess is not all it is cracked up to be.

Scars and Silence – Jordan
In Jordan’s novella it covers some incredibly real and relevant topical that highlights the fact that Lynette is more than just a fantasy writer. She has tackled each of these issues with incredible care and respect and will make you sob into your pillow as you learn more about Jordan and his family.

Hearts and Headstones- Bear
If you have read book four in the series you are well aware of the final events in this book. Bears story has us take a look at these events from Bears perspective.

The perfect blend of an exciting plot and wonderful character that give the readers the chance to get to know Alex’s friends in more depth. Alex may be the strong one in the group, but she couldn’t do this without her best friends, and they could not survive without her

Broken Prince (The Royals #2) by  Erin Watt

Broken Prince (The Royals, #2)Synopsis

From wharf fights and school brawls to crumbling lives inside glittery mansions, one guy tries to save himself.

Reed Royal has it all—looks, status, money. The girls at his elite prep school line up to date him, the guys want to be him, but Reed never gave a damn about anyone but his family until Ella Harper walked into his life.

What started off as burning resentment and the need to make his father’s new ward suffer turned into something else entirely—keep Ella close. Keep Ella safe. But when one foolish mistake drives her out of Reed’s arms and brings chaos to the Royal household, Reed’s entire world begins to fall apart around him.

Ella doesn’t want him anymore. She says they’ll only destroy each other.

Secrets. Betrayal. Enemies. It’s like nothing Reed has ever dealt with before, and if he’s going to win back his princess, he’ll need to prove himself Royally worthy.

Broken Prince is a twisted fairytale. It’s the story of a broken boy who met a broken girl, fell in love with her and then crashed her.

After finishing ‘Paper Princess’, I dived right into ‘Broken Prince’. I had to know what would become of Ella and all of the Royals after that ending.

Picking up where ‘Paper Princess’ left off, Ella is on the run. This time around, the entire Royal household is furious with Reed. They’d grown to love Ella and consider her to be their sister and nobody is happy that she has left. No one feels her absence more than Reed, who knows that he is to blame for her disappearance.

In comparison to the first book, ‘Broken Prince’ is told primarily from Reed’s POV. It was nice to get his viewpoint given that this book centers around him a little more than Elle.

While ‘Paper Princess’ highlighted the unity of the Royal brothers, ‘Broken Prince’ spotlights their decline. Easton is falling deeper into his dangerous addictions. The twins have kind of broken away from their other brothers.

Meanwhile, the school has turned into a war zone. Without the Royal brothers to keep things in check, Jordan and the other bullies have unleashed a reign of terror on anyone they consider beneath them. In her absence, the rumors about Ella are vicious.

Eventually, Callum is able to locate Ella and bring her home. Although she’s not happy about it, she has to admit that she had begun to think of the Royals as her family and their home as hers. While she is not looking forward to facing Reed after his betrayal, she realizes that her actions have affected others as well.

Ella has to make amends for the pain that she caused when she left abruptly. Aside from Easton, Val was also hurt by her lack of communication. Not to mention that she up and left her bakery job without any notice.

Like the first book, ‘Broken Prince’ ends with another huge cliffhanger. This book has several twists and turns that keep this story interesting. I never knew what would happen next, but I couldn’t wait to see.

Finishing this book, I immediately started ‘Twisted Palace’. This series has consumed me. I cannot get enough of the Royals and the dysfunction that surrounds them.

Paper Princess (The Royals #1) by Erin Watt

Paper Princess (The Royals, #1)Synopsis

From strip clubs and truck stops to southern coast mansions and prep schools, one girl tries to stay true to herself.

These Royals will ruin you…

Ella Harper is a survivor—a pragmatic optimist. She’s spent her whole life moving from town to town with her flighty mother, struggling to make ends meet and believing that someday she’ll climb out of the gutter. After her mother’s death, Ella is truly alone.

Until Callum Royal appears, plucking Ella out of poverty and tossing her into his posh mansion among his five sons who all hate her. Each Royal boy is more magnetic than the last, but none as captivating as Reed Royal, the boy who is determined to send her back to the slums she came from.

Reed doesn’t want her. He says she doesn’t belong with the Royals.

He might be right.

Wealth. Excess. Deception. It’s like nothing Ella has ever experienced, and if she’s going to survive her time in the Royal palace, she’ll need to learn to issue her own Royal decrees.

Wow this series has been in my TBR pile for a while and i’m kicking myself for not reading it sooner.

I’m a big fan of Erin Watts books there’s something about her writing that really has the characters popping out of the page and makes you feel like not only do you know the characters but you were there living the story with them.
Ella Harper is tough 17, who let’s face it life hasn’t always been great and kind to her but ever since her mom died of cancer, she’s been making it on her own. It’s been a struggle, but she does it. But then her life has changed by the arrival of a mystery man who claims to be her guardian and Elsa life will never be the same again.

Callum Royal, claims to be her legal guardian and takes her home with him. However Callum’s five boys are less than impressed with her arrival and suspect she’s after nothing more than their money.

The Royal boys about getting rid of L as quick as possible. But they clearly underestimate l and has strength and courage to survive so if she’s ready to run at any moment she’s not going to let five boys chase her away.

Aaron did a fantastic job with these characters with every aspect of them being crystal clear you’re really able to imagine they’re reactions and their treatment of Elle but also has strength and the surroundings where they live.

Whether she’s writing about a main character or just another character in the book every detail and aspect is clearly thought about and planned helping to paint a clear image of the story and the world they live in.

So much about this book and this series that I would love to tell you about but I feel like it’s one of those stories you need to read yourself.im sure that i will have no problem recalling what happened in this series

This book has everything you want love hate struggle acceptance and so much more it’s an all-consuming story. Erin once describe it ‘a love child of Cruel Intentions and Gossip Girl

The series would definitely be going into my master read recommendations.

The tagline on the book is the Royals will ruin You And honestly after reading this series I think that’s a pretty accurate tagline.

jabberwocky Book (Looking Glass Saga #2) by  Tanya Lisle

Jabberwocky's Book (Looking Glass Saga #2)synopsis

After getting the book from Wonderland and sending the Cheshire Cat back into a very different Wonderland, Alice turns her attention back on her desires for a perfectly normal school life.

Those hopes are quickly shattered when the creature from the book begin to attack the student body. Tracking it by the shrill screams of its victims which terrify her to the core, she must find a way to press on. After all, it’s her fault this creature is terrorizing the campus in the first place

Tanya has pulled us back through the mirror into a world of magic and madness

. Story has taken a darker twist with people disappearing and no one even remember in the exist Alice will have together all her strength and courage to help solve this problem a problem she helped create.

I really love the idea of revisiting these classic stories but adding a modern twist. By adding more to the story it helps to bring the story to a whole new generation but it also reminds us our childhood and helps us reconnect with that in a child and the crazy world we fell in love with .

It also gives us a little more insight into what went on with Alice after she came back to reality it’s a magical journey that is definitely worth the read. It’ll be very interesting to see how the story continues to grow and develop

Who is excited 😊
Im super lucky to have received a ARC copy
